Step Out Walk Nov. 20th

Update from the Step Out Walk for Diabetes in Seabrook, TX.

More than 40 University of Texas Medical Branch Health team members rallied to stop diabetes during the American Diabetes Association Step Out Walk to Fight Diabetes on Nov. 6 in Seabrook, TX. The team raised more than $2000 for diabetes research and education. UTMB Health volunteers also provided glucose screenings at an information booth at the event. THANK YOU to all who participated in this effort!

Your American Diabetes Association (ADA), families, friends and co-workers in and around the Houston area will join in a nationwide campaign to raise money to help fund diabetes research, education and advocacy.

Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes is the ADA’s largest annual fundraising campaign. Every fall,thousandsofpeoplejoininthefightagainstdiabetesbywalkingandrunningin the family friendly non-competitive walk and run.
