American Diabetes Tour de Cure 2011

Now that the worst of the winter seems to be behind us, it’s time to get outside! Our Tour de Cure street team will be out in full force this weekend at a couple of events this weekend.

Stop by and say “hi” wherever you see the Tour de Cure jerseys and custom wrapped vehicles!

Pedaling the Prairie is a non-competitive bike ride held annually around the rice fields and prairie between Bellville and Katy, Texas. All proceeds benefit the athletic department of Faith West Academy. For more information on Faith West check out our website www.faithwest.org

We’ll also be at Ride to the Rescue Sunday, February 13. This event benefits an organization dedicated to raising funds for local animal rescue groups. Net proceeds directly provide for medical needs, creature comforts, and help finding forever homes. For more information visit http://www.ridetotherescue.org

Most importantly, the 3rd annual ADA Dignity Memorial Tour de Cure is set for Saturday, September 24th . For more information, visit the website at http://diabetes.org/tour

For any Tour de Cure specific questions, please contact Brian McGrath at bmcgrath@diabetes.org We hope to see you out there!
