Dear ADA Board Members, Friends and Supporters,

As another eventful year has ended and we begin again to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes, I want to thank you for all that you have done and encourage you to continue your engagement in our important mission.

As you’ll see by the accomplishments outlined below, together we have heeded the call to Stop Diabetes® in so many ways.  I thank you for that and gratefully recognize the thousands of Southeast Texans who have raised their voices all across the Area to rally for a life free of diabetes and all its burdens.  2012 was a record breaker year for us in our Mission Delivery to children, at risk communities and the corporate community.  It also was another banner year in fundraising where we are forecasting a 20% increase.  I also encourage you to pay special attention to our key events for 2013 in the “Save the Date” box.  With your participation in these events, I know that our list of accomplishments will be even more impressive this year.

I appreciate your passion, your friendship and all that you do in support of our mission.  I look forward to our continued partnership to further our mission in 2013.

Sincerely,

J. Ralston Creswell, CAE, Senior Executive Director
